Tachit are odd wolfish creatures with feathers as well as fur covering their bodies. In fact their most distinctive feature are feathered manes on the back of their necks. Their next most distinctive feature are their large agile ears.
Tachit are omnivores, though they seem to prefer meat. the tundra living white Tachit in particular are known to eat just about anything even vaguely edible.
Tachit form into packs lead by the dominant male or female within the group. These packs typically contain two to eight Tachit each, with the largest ever reported consisting of sixteen.
